FY 2028 Adopted List of Project Priorities (LoPP)

Every year, the SCTPO develops a List of Project Priorities through its annual call for projects, project prioritization process, and coordination with local agencies. This list outlines upcoming highway, technology, and bicycle & pedestrian projects in line for funding. The LoPP serves as a bridge document between the SCTPO’s Long Range Transportation Plan and the five-year Transportation Improvement Program.

Once long-term needs are determined by the 20-year long range plan, projects are prioritized and put on the List of Project Priorities, a funding waiting list. When funding becomes available, the project moves to the five-year plan.

Citizens were encouraged to share their input during the 30-day public comment period from May 20 – June 20, 2026. The DRAFT FY 28 List of Project Priorities was adopted by the Governing Board on July 13, 2026. Check out the final LoPP document and maps:

Public Involvement Activities 

The DRAFT FY 2028 List of Project Priorities (LoPP) was available for public review and comment from May 20 – June 20, 2026 (30 days) and will be presented to the SCTPO Governing Board for adoption on July 13, 2026. To gather public input, on the FY 2026 List of Project Priorities, the SCTPO used various communications channels to inform citizens and stakeholders of the public comment period.

2026 Annual Open House: Funding the Future! 🚦🚲🚶‍♀️

The SCTPO hosted its 2026 Annual Open House on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the Center for Collaboration, where attendees enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at how transportation planning shapes the future of mobility in Brevard County! 

Attendees had the chance to learn more about our FY 28 List of Project Priorities, which highlights prioritized projects, and FY 2027-31 Transportation Improvement Program, which outlines transportation projects to be implemented over the next five years. After the presentation, the SCTPO held a formal public comment period to include in-person and virtual submitted comments and then attendees were encouraged to visit different learning stations. The event saw a great turnout, with over 50+ attendees in person and a handful online. Thanks to our citizens taking the time to learn more about the transportation planning process!
