Share Your Feedback! FY 2028 Project Priorities & FY 2027-31 Funding
The Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO) has officially opened a 30-day public comment window, running from May 20 through June 20, 2026, inviting Brevard County residents to help guide upcoming investments in local roads, trails, and transit systems. This review period gives community members a direct say in prioritizing infrastructure funding before regional plans are finalized.
At the center of the public review are two major planning initiatives, check them out below:
- The Draft FY 2028 List of Project Priorities (LoPP): This plan maps out immediate neighborhood needs, including roadway improvements, new sidewalks, bicycle paths, and smart traffic technologies.
- The Draft FY 2027–2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): This document outlines the comprehensive five-year schedule and budget for state and federally funded transportation projects across Brevard County.
2026 Annual Open House: Funding the Future!
The SCTPO hosted its 2026 Annual Open House on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the Center for Collaboration, where attendees enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at how transportation planning shapes the future of mobility in Brevard County! 🚦🚲🚶♀️
Attendees had the chance to learn more about our FY 28 List of Project Priorities, which highlights prioritized projects, and FY 2027-31 Transportation Improvement Program, which outlines transportation projects to be implemented over the next five years. After the presentation, the SCTPO held a formal public comment period to include in-person and virtual submitted comments and then attendees were encouraged to visit different learning stations. The event saw a great turnout, with over 40+ attendees in person and a handful online. Thanks to our citizens taking the time to learn more about the transportation planning process!
