General Planning Consulting Services | Request For Proposals #2022-03
Requested Services
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit responses from qualified consulting firms interested in providing continuing general transportation planning consulting services for the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO). The respondent(s) selected are expected to have a broad range of experience in transportation planning including long range transportation planning, traffic modeling, safety analysis, performance monitoring, public involvement, corridor studies, traffic operations, bicycle, pedestrian and trails planning, transit planning, as well as a clear understanding of the SCTPO planning process. See Scope of Services provided in RFP Package.
Duration of Contract to be Awarded: General Planning Consultant Services contract will be awarded for a period of five (5) calendar years beginning on March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2027.
Value of Contract: Due to the unknown volume of work and diverse nature of activities expected to be performed under this proposal, the SCTPO reserves the right to award the contract to more than one (1) respondent that it deems to offer the best overall proposal. No firm dollar amount for services to be performed under this RFP can be established in advance as the extent of work required cannot be estimated at this time. There is no guarantee of work tasks or a firm dollar amount for services to be performed under each contract. The SCTPO is therefore not bound to accept a proposal on the basis of lowest staffing rate plan.
The SCTPO reserves the right to cancel this RFP, and to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities and or irregularities, or to re-advertise with either the identical or revised specifications, if it is deemed to be in the best interests to do so.

GPC Selection Committee Meeting: Oral Presentations –January 13, 2022: The Space Coast TPO General Planning Consultant (GPC) Services Selection Committee will hold an evaluation meeting on January 13, 2022, at 9:00 am at the Viera Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Bldg. C, 3rd Floor, Florida Room, Viera, FL 32940. During this meeting, the short-listed general planning consultants will provide oral presentations.
