Have a Say in Brevardโ€™s Transportation Future! SCTPO Invites Public Input for Federal Certification Review

BREVARD COUNTY, FLA. โ€“ Every four years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) conducts a comprehensive review of our work by evaluating everything from long range planning to public engagement and financial stewardship. This process, known as the Transportation Management Area (TMA) Certification Review, helps ensure the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO) continues to meet federal standards and delivers meaningful results for Brevard County, and your input is a vital part of that process.

Join the SCTPO for this year's Federal Certification Review Public Hearing to learn more about how transportation planning works in our region and share feedback on how we can improve!

Your Voice Matters: 30-Day Public Comment Period

How are we doing? How can we improve? This hearing is focused on how we plan โ€” not specific transportation projects. Weโ€™re seeking feedback on our overall planning process, including how we engage the public, set priorities, and make decisions.

A 30-day public comment period will be open from April 11 โ€“ May 11, 2026. If you canโ€™t attend in person, you can still make your voice heard. All comments submitted during this period will be included as part of the official federal certification review.
