Meaningful and effective participation is essential to the successful implementation of a public plan, project, or program, and is necessary to ensure the needs of the local citizenry are adequately addressed. 2026 Vision Zero Summit

You're invited! Join the SCTPO for our Vision Zero Summit on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at the Center for Collaboration (1100 Rockledge Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955).

This summit is meant to be a space to reflect on where Brevard is today and to collaborate around the pillars of Vision Zero β€”engineering, education, and enforcement. You’ll hear from local leaders and partners as we work together toward safer streets for all road users. There will be speakers, interactive conversations, and hands-on workshops designed to get everyone thinking a little differently. This will also be your first opportunity to see and use the SCTPO's brand-new 2026 Vision Zero Toolkit. πŸ§°

Tentative Schedule: 
1:00–1:45 PM β€“ Arrival & opening remarks πŸ‘‹
1:45–3:00 PM β€“ Speaker presentations, including representatives from Health First, Florida Highway Patrol, City of Cape Canaveral, and the Florida Department of Transportation πŸŽ€
3:00–3:15 PM β€“ Break β˜•
3:15–4:00 PM β€“ Interactive workshops using the new Vision Zero Toolkit (including games!) πŸŽ―
