The Brevard MPO values your input! Public involvement in the transportation planning process leads to a transportation system that reflects the needs, values and desires of the community. The MPO encourages public participation at all of its meetings and solicits input in all areas of transportation planning.

There are many ways to get involved and provide input into the decision-making process - including attending MPO and Advisory Committee meetings, receiving newsletters and notices through our mailing list or e-mail list, responding to surveys, and participating in workshops and special events held throughout the year by the MPO and its planning partners.

Public Involvement Plan (PIP)

The Public Involvement Plan (PIP) is a guideline for public involvement activities to be conducted by the Brevard MPO. The PIP contains the goals and policies of the MPO for actively engaging the public in the transportation planning process. The PIP is reviewed and updated at least every three years. Public Involvement Evaluation Handbook

The MPO strives to improve Public Involvement procedures by routinely evaluating public involvement activites. The Evaluation Handbook provides performance measures and evaluation guidelines for this process. The Handbook is reviewed and adopted in conjunction with the PIP at least every three years
